VERSUS
A charismatic take on the everlasting battle of nature which sees MvsM’s name as the seed behind the piece. Man vs Machine evolves into Nature vs Structure, Form vs Function and ultimately becomes a playful discourse about nature, animals and conflict.
As part of the team at Manvsmachine, I directed this piece and developed the concept. MAXON commissioned us to create VERSUS as a showcase piece for their new version of Cinema4D R18. They gave us complete freedom and left it up to us to make something truly unique. We wanted to challenge ourselves with something that we had never done before. Therefore we kept the creative process open and experimental throughout.
