Matthias Winckelmann is a multidisciplinary Creative Director, Designer, Digital Artist, and the Co-Founder of someform Studio, a forward-thinking creative practice based in Berlin. Matthias has collaborated with some of the world’s leading brands, studios, and artists to craft work that resonates across disciplines and cultures, while pushing innovative and conceptual design thinking.

Before establishing someform Studio, Matthias was Managing Partner and Director at foam Studio, and previously served as Head of 3D at the renowned design and branding studio ManvsMachine in London. 

With over a decade of experience, Matthias has lived and worked in major creative hubs including Berlin, London, Shanghai, and Los Angeles — earning a reputation for pushing creative boundaries and leading teams at the intersection of art, design, and technology. Actively engaged in the design community, Matthias has been continuously giving lectures & presentations around the world on design, creativity & tech.
